Christmas Cup in Cebu

As announced a couple of days before the actual event, Mineski held a Christmas Cup for all its branches all over the Philippines (except for Cagayan de Oro, that had to cancel because of Sendong).

A total of 15 teams participated in the tournament,
and the Top 8 from the group stages were:
-It's Pro Time (Mineski Cebu)
- Team X
- Cube (Cube DotA)
- Champion daan
- Otenians
- Charge to Experience
- Stigma
- KYLD

It's Pro Time grabbed the Championship and proved that they're currently the best in Cebu. iPT is also informally known as Mineski Cebu, an all-star combination of an ex-Mineski player, 2 ex-Latos players and 2 ex-Stigma players.

Cube made a surprising rise to the 1st Runner-up spot in a close semi-finals match between another top team Stigma. "Cube" is a Professional Cebu StarCraft II Clan that adopted NotSoSneaky and are usually referred to as Cube DotA to avoid confusion with the SC2 team.

Stigma made a great comeback with their new member, ex-Latos and ex-ZeitGeist, Mr. Josh Groban. In this Mineski tournament, they have proven that they're still one of the top teams to beat.

After this tournament, the Cebu DotA community is revved up and ready to rise again.

Who will emerge victorious this January 2012? With all the open tournaments lined up from organizing committees GameVolution Inc. and Mineski, Cebu will surely gain enough experience to prove that they really can compete with the big leagues!
